To keep up to date with any changes made to key Google Workspace Work or Business Files must soon be much easier thanks to a new “Catch Me Up” feature driven by Gemini.
The tool is able to scan through your Google Drive space and quickly identify which files have recently been edited, giving a full overview of the changes in a short overview.
Although Google warns that these reports are not intended to be completely comprehensive, the tool will cover them as file editing on documents and archive comments on documents, sheets and slides.
Gemini “catches me up”
“” Catch Me Up “provides a high level overview of important changes across documents from your drive, or a synopsis of the most important changes and comments in a particular file when it was last opened to ensure that users are always up to date,” updates a Google work area blog post announcing the explained changes.
The tool will be able to provide multiple types of updates -a high -level download can be found by selecting “catching up with me” nudge at the top of the Google Drive website with the answer shown in the Gemini side panel.
For a particular file or doctor, the tool can show if this file has been changed since you last saw it and give an overview of what changed, with a particular captured activity indicator that appears next to the file name in Google Drive.
Users will need to have smart features and personalization turned on for Google Workspace to access me, which is rolling out now.
It will be available across the following Google Workspace levels; Business Standard and Plus, Enterprise Standard and Plus, Customers with Gemini Education or Gemini Education Premium Add-on, and Google One AI Premium-with all users who previously purchased the Gemini business or Gemini Enterprise supplies that are also set to receive the feature.
