It created by the Google event is just around the corner – it happens 20 August – but some of the technical launches from it could be further away than we had realized if new leaks are to be believed.
According to Winfuture (machine translated into English from German), it claims that its named sources say that although the Google Pixel 10 setup will land later this month, the new foldable, earplugs and smartwatch will not land so quickly.
Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold, Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2A (which all previously teased by leaks) are instead set to be available from October 9th.
Problems with Google’s supply chain are the quoted excuse for the delays, although winfuture says its source did not come into detail.
There is a whiff of irony here if the leak turns out to be correct, as Google just teased Apple for its technique to not be ready in a Google Pixel 10 AD, which is fun at the delayed launch of the AI-enhanced Siri. At the time of writing, the new Siri has still not launched in its promised full capacity.
If Google’s hardware is delayed, this will cause its own frustrations to many who were desperate after upgrading their technology – especially if it is really kept up by over a month.
As with all leaks, however, we have to take these details with a pinch of salt.
Apart from Google Pixel 10, we have had no direct promise of what hardware we are looking at are made by Google and we have not heard any official release dates for any devices.
Nevertheless, this leak can be one to remember on August 20, so we’re not too disappointed if some of Google’s new technology is as delayed as it suggests.
