Govt clearing Quetta -Flights to Shia -Pilgrims

Islamabad:

The federal government has approved direct flights from Quetta to ease Pilgrims traveling to Iran and Iraq for Arbaeen, Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif announced on Tuesday.

During the session-led by Speeches Ayaz Sadiq vocals the house unanimously two decisions that marked Youm-E-Desehsal, and condemned atrocities in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, opposition members continued their protest over the conviction of senior party leaders in May 9th cases. Some federal ministers responded by mocking the PTI-led protest movement while the law minister repeated the government’s offer of dialogue.

In a political statement, Defense Minister Asif the security threats that Pilgrimme faces along the 800-kilometer route from Quetta-Issky’s risk of terrorist attacks in Balochistan.

“To mitigate these risks, the federal government has approved direct flights from Quetta for the Arbaeen Pilgrims,” he said, adding that a plane had already begun, with additional daily services planned to meet demand.

Asif said all licensed private carriers had been invited to operate on the route, and chartered aircraft were also granted to maximize capacity.

He noted that Iran had approved a further flight for Pakistani Pilgrims after discussions during the recent visit of the Iranian president.

“The government is obliged to ensure safe, comfortable and timely transport for all the Arbaeen pilgrims,” the minister added.

Resolution at Kashmir

The house unanimously adopted two decisions and condemned India’s actions in IIOJK at YouM-E-Sestehsal-E-Kashmir and marked the sixth anniversary of India’s revocation of articles 370 and 35a.

The solutions were moved by Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Shazia Marri and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawazs Amir Muqam. However, the negotiations were destroyed by opposition protests that accused the government of stifling dissent.

Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry criticized PTI’s protest and said, “Today is for Kashmir, but you observe the YouM-E-Thingsal-E-Imran.” He accused PTI of exploiting the session of political gains and gaining opposition rebellion.

Ptis Aamir Dogar accused the government of “political victim”, claiming that 10 members of the National Assembly were “picked up” but the speaker took no action. Required justice he said the PTI founder was in prison for refusing to bend.

Speaking Sadiq opposite and said he had issued production orders. The speaker also assessed the house for PTI MNA Sheikh Waqas Acram’s unexplained absence for 40 days and said that under Article 64 his seat could be declared available.

PML-N’s Nosheen Iftikhar moved a proposal to declare Akram’s seat available, but deputy Ghulam Mustafa Shah emphasized the need to see if the movement followed the rules.
