Govt -Codes owe SNGPL RS37B in quota

Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has released reminder messages to various federal and provincial departments and institutions for payment of outstanding quota of more than RS3.72 billion.

The company has called on all government units to run their quota immediately to avoid further actions. Final messages had already been sent to these defaults in April 2025.

According to the messages, government hospitals owe the company a total of RS1.4125 billion. Hospitals in the federal capital owe SNGPL RS183.62 million, the hospital in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), RS106.08 million and Hospital in Punjab has to pay RS1.12 million to the company.

Police departments in the federal capital and the two provinces where the company operates – Punjab and KP – owe it RS499.7 million with RS141.5 million payable by the Islamabad police, RS63.13 million payable by the KP police and RS295.04 million payable by Punjab Police.

The prison in KP and Punjab also has to pay RS607 million to the company with RS38.6 million payable by prisons in KP and RS569 million payable by prisons in Punjab.

Capital Development Authority (CDA) also owes SNGPL RS251.2 million. Public work departments (PWD) owe RS141.6 million with RS118.46 million at federal level; RS5,028 million in KP and RS18,114 million in Punjab.

Educational institutions must also pay the gas company in total RS115.28 million with institutions at the federal level due to the RS65.58 million; KP, RS17.14 million and Punjab, RS32,554 million.

According to the messages, Commandant Police Training College in Sihala owes the RS146.37 million; Lahore ‘General Hospital, RS97.74 Million; Punjab House Executive Engineer, RS89.21 million; Lahores Mayo Hospital, RS85.7 million and Pims, 61.4 million.
