The Federal Government ordered Saturday all state institutions to refer to militant groups operating in its residual Balochistan province as “Fitna Al Hindustan”that accuses India of sponsoring a power of attorney through these rebels.
According to a review issued by the Ministry of Interior on Saturday, the move stems from “the involvement of some organizations and groups in terrorist activities in Balochistan, which is harmful to Islamic faith, the sovereignty of Pakistan and its usual traditions.”
The message further stated that the new term is intended to reflect “the true nature and ideology” of these groups and their “dishonest designs” allegedly sponsored by India.

“All government units are referred to start the above practice immediately,” says the message, emphasizing a coordinated effort to refresh the narrative of rebel violets in the province.
The message came when Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif accused India of escalating indirect aggression after what he described as its defeat in a recent security operation, called “Marka-E-Haq”.
By urgently India about intensifying a proxy terrorism campaign in Pakistan, especially in Balochistan, he said, “India, after suffering strategic setbacks, has resorted to indirect aggression.” “But Pakistan will avert all such dishonest designs and stand resolutely to Fitna Al Hindustan and its clerks.”
A day earlier, the Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir had also addressed the ongoing turmoil in Balochistan, where they stated that rebel groups that were not original but rather acted on behalf of foreign interests.
“These terrorists are not Baloch. They are agents of disturbance sponsored by India,” said the army chief, repeating the attitude of the armed forces that separatist violence in the province is externally initiated.

Government’s decision to adopt a new label for Balochistan-based rebels mirroring a similar step last year when Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was officially appointed “Fitna al-Khawarij”.
At the time, the Ministry of the Interior said the term “Khariji” was chosen to postpone what it described as TTP’s erroneous representation of Islam.
