The federal government has increased the price of gasoline by more than RS5 per year. Liter for the next fourteen days starting tomorrow, the Financial Division said Tuesday.
The price of the gasoline has been horizontal to RS272.15 per Liter with an increase of RS5.36 per Liter. Meanwhile, diesel prices have risen to RS284.35 per year. Liter, increased by RS11.37 per Liter. This marks the third consecutive two -nightly price hiking trip.
In a statement, the Financial Division said the government has revised the prices of oil products based on the recommendations of the oil and gas regulatory authority (OGRA) and the relevant ministries.

During the previous two weeks, the petrol frequency was horizontal with RS8.36 per year. Liter after fluctuations in international crude oil prices. The price of diesel was also raised with RS10,39.
Petrol forces small vehicles, rickshaws and bikes, making price increases especially hard on households with medium and lower income that depend on it for daily commuting.
In contrast, a significant part of the transport sector depends on high -speed diesel. Its price is considered inflationary due to its widespread use in trucks, buses, trains and agricultural machines, such as tractors and pipe wells.
The increased cost of high -speed diesel contributes directly to the rising prices of vegetables and other important foods.
