Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal on Sunday was chairman of a meeting on water and power problems in Gwadar to improve the facilities of local residents.
According to a statement, the meeting discussed detailed lack of power and water problems in Gwadar.
The planning minister instructed that the creation of a 170 MW solar system in Gwadar be examined so that uninterrupted supply of water and electricity for domestic and industrial use could be ensured.
The meeting decided that 2 MW power would be delivered immediately to ensure water supply in Gwadar so that the problems that arise in water supply due to a shortage of stream could be remedied.
