Islamabad:

As PTI doubles the efforts to gather more political heavy weights in its large alliance, the opposition parties decided to expand the anti-government coalition on Friday by opening new communication channels and holding key meetings.

In the midst of speculation that maneuvering behind the scenes was underway to bring Jui-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman into the fold, Jui-F also seemed to weigh his opportunities to join alliance against the common political rival.

The development came weeks after a PTI delegation, led by opposition leader Omar Ayub Khan, sat down with FAZL – who had previously decided to go against the government alone.

As the two sides chewed over the country’s political landscape, PTI leaders had expanded an olive branch and urged Maulana to join the opposition’s Grand Alliance.

Meanwhile, in the wake of the meeting, the Rumor Mill had been exaggerated with claims that the priest -politician had set three conditions for his support – claiming that the party has now shot down.

The opposition management is now ready to stop in Sindh, with the management of Tehreek-E-Tahaffuz-Ein Pakistan (TTAP), who is ready for a crucial three-day visit. A number of meetings are planned with high efforts to strengthen the alliance.

The delegation will collaborate with the management of the Grand Alliance, while Sindh opposition leader Ayaz Latif Palijo is ready to hold conversations with officials in Hyderabad.

The delegation includes key figures including TTAP chief Mahmood Achakzai, Asad Qaiser, SaHibzada Hamid Raza, Akhunzada Hussain Yousafzai, leaders of BNP Mengal and MWM together with PTI Secre-Tary General Salman Akram Raja.

During the visit, the alliance will also touch the base of business, the bar association, PTI officials in Karachi and opposition-adjusted journalists, which further expands his network.

Meanwhile, TTAP spokesman, Akhunzada Hussain Yousafzai, shot speculations about Jui-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s alleged conditions for joining the opposition block. “Maulana Fazlur Rehman has not put forward any prerequisites for assuming leadership of the opposition alliance,” Fied Clari.

“The government knows that the opposition Grand Alliance will be formed within the next few days,” he added.

He also claimed that the electronic media have “scattered false news about Maulana Fazlur Rehman” and emphasized that the claims that he has set three conditions to join TTAP were baseless.

“Maulana Fazlur Rehman did not require the leadership of the opposition alliance, nor did he ask for a share in the KP government,” he added.

Similarly at a news conference in Islamabad, Mahmood Khan Achakzai and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi treated the Anti-Government Alliance media recently.

“Our consultations with opposition parties are in progress. The population of the country wants a solution to the current situation,” said Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

Achakzai announced that the alliance has decided to convene a national conference to solve the country’s problems.

“We will play a role in solving national problems. We are all inviting this conference, which will be held over two days on February 26 and 27, where national issues will be discussed.”

In a statement, a spokesman for Jui-F, Aslam Ghauri, said “some circles are upset” by the news of Jui-F, who accedes to the opposition alliance. “Those who are disturbed are those who spread baseless news.”

“Even without a leadership position, Maulana Fazlur Rehman plays an important role in the resistance of the resistance,” the spokesman said, adding that FAZL’s management was now not dependent on any post and his admission would only strengthen the opposition.

“We are gradually moving towards forming a magnificent alliance,” he said, noting that such statements helped narrow differences between opposition parties.

“After his speech in parliament, a campaign for honoring Maulana Fazlur Rehman is in progress. Na-nine knows where these fractional sparrows come from,” he added.
