- Grand Theft Auto 6 Will apparently contain parodies of sites and mobile apps like Uber and WhatsApp
- Rockstar Games Insider Tez2 shared several domain names registered by Take-Two Interactive in May
- Some domains include what-up.app, which could be whatsapp, and tyedme.app could be uber or lyft
A new leaking suggests Grand Theft Auto 6 will contain parodies of real sites and mobile apps like Uber and WhatsApp.
According to Rockstar Games Insider Tez2 On the GTA forums, several domain names of Take-Two Interactive have been recorded in the coming Gta Game (via Games Radar).
“I came across some domains that were all registered on May 27 under Take-Two’s name servers that appear to be we-related,” Tez2 explained. “These domains could be sites in the game that r* can redirect to VI’s side later, just as what we’ve seen with IV and V., or some could instead be completely not related.”
The domains are exactly what you would expect to find in a Gta game. They are named: What-up.app, Rydeme.app, Buckme.app, Leonidagov.org, Brianandbradley.com, Hookers-galore.com, WipeOutcornskin.com, myboyhasacrepycorndog.com.
What-up.app, already known from previous leaks, is probably a parody of WhatsApp, Rydeme.app could be Uber or Lyft, and Buckme.App could be Patreon and only fans combined, suggested a commentator.
None of these sites can be obtained at the moment, but according to a historic whois lookup, like stained by PC Gamer, they could have been tied to name servers such as NS03.vandalay-industries.net and DNS2.P05.nsone.net, which is also bound to existing places such as Rockstar’s own.
It also seems that domain names were moved to new name servers after fans discovered them and are now linked to name servers by a software company called Mark Monitor.
Previous GTA games have also shown parody site, so it would not be unusual for the leak to have some validity.
GTA 6 is scheduled for release on May 26, 2026, to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. The game does not come to PC at the launch.
