Five things we learned

From our first tip to what the story could be on to a role crew of officially confirmed characters, learned the trailer (and similar update to the Rockstar Web site) us a lot about GTA 6.

If you are online that just sets for my coverage and want a concentrated worn-out of all the biggest news, my colleague freelance author Demi Williams has compiled a list of the five biggest things we now know.

The Rockstar Web site is back!

Good news all! After a shaking start, it seems that the Rockstar website is back online.

It has a wealth of screens to browse, so I would recommend going over there now.

The latest key art revealed

The trailer went live with two new pieces of key art for the game. Both show Jason and Lucia together and follow the iconic Grand Theft Auto Stylized aesthetically.

Of the two, the one with both characters on a dock is determined my favorite. It is bright, colorful and really highlights the iconic summery atmosphere in the vice city.

After briefly going up again, it seems that the Rockstar website is tense under the strain of eager fans starting it up to browse the latest details.

I am currently seeing the following error message while trying to get it on screen:

"Access Denied You don't have permission to access " on this server."

Hopefully the site will be back online soon!

A fan favorite character returns?

Fans on social media are currently speculating that the trailer may give us our first glimpse of a fan-favorite recurring character.

Phil Cassidy, a prominence in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories Maybe comes back as there is undeniably someone who looks like a terrible mass like him in the trailer.

We see a short ad for a weapon store called Phil’s Ammu nation where the character appears wearing a tank top with the store’s logo on it.

Now, of course, this could be a hero -related Phil, but given how much Rockstar tends to bring familiar faces back into its games, it seems to assume it is a modern interpretation of Cassidy.

The final character that is detailed on the site is Brian Heder, a “classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling”, who currently lives with his third wife Lori.

The site reveals that Brian lets Jason Live Rent-free in exchange for helping with his local shakes. This explains one of the scenes we see early in the trailer where Brian arrives at Jason’s home to ask him to get him his controls – presumably cash from nearby companies.

The website also introduces us to Raul Bautista. He is an experienced bank robber, he is looking for new talent for some fresh bank jobs.

Raul could very well be part of the “plan” mentioned in Lucia’s description. Will the story contain the couple who robb banks across vice city for light cash? It certainly seems likely, especially given the handful of shots that show what seems to be different robberies in the trailer.

And now a little more on Dre’quan Priest.

A drug dealer turns music producer, Dre’quan moves up in Vice City. He has just signed the real dimez, two young rappers who are massive on social media and could be his cross for mainstream success.

The Real Dimez, Bae-Luxe and Roxy, are two long-lasting friends on their way again five years after their early hit singles with a local rapper called Dwnply.

We also have boobie ike (yes it really is his name). He is apparently a prominent figure in Vice City, which owns real estate, a strip club and a recording study.

He works in partnership with a “young hopeful music mogul” named Dre’quan in a Turnet only Raw Records. The duo is apparently searching for the next big hit, which may prove to be an important plot thread in the full game.

The official site now also tells us about some of the side characters that we can expect to encounter in the game.

First up is Cal Hampton, a conspiracy theorist friend of Jason. From his description it sounds like his laziness will be something of a contrast to Jason’s own ambition.

Love the song in the trailer?

One of the things I like most about the trailer is its music, 1986 -Sangen Hot Together from the album with the same name of Pointer Sisters.

It doesn’t take much fantasy to find out why this particular song was chosen – with the texts “Could we be so hot together”, presumably intended to reflect on the partnership between Jason and Lucia.

Do I see a PS5?

This trailer may have been caught on the PS5, but it apparently has not prevented Rockstar game from pouring something fun on Sony’s platform.

What seems to be a PS5 parody icon is visible in one of the inner shots of the trailer. Don’t quote me on this, but I actually like the look – maybe a little more than real life ps5 mucus.

Here’s a little thing you might have missed.

The new one GTA 6 Trailer ends with confirmation that it was “caught on PS5.” Although most of the scenes shown are similar to cutcene in the game, it seems to be safe to assume that they are reproduced in the engine considering the presence of this text.

This is good news as it suggests that the last game will have a similar level of graphic faith as this trailer. Given how incredibly livelihood the whole trailer looks like, we may soon have one of the most beautiful games of our hands.

As for Lucia, she seems to be a bit of a loose cannon. “Lucia’s father taught her how to fight as soon as she could go,” the site reads. She apparently came straight out of prison and doesn’t seem to be returning.

She dreams of a good life for her mother who interestingly comes from Liberty City – another prominence location in Grand Theft Auto series.

The website says she is “committed to her plan – no matter what it takes.” What could this plan be? Presumably a kind of criminal business. We’ll just have to wait and see …

Our two ‘heroes’ revealed

So on to what we can pick up from the Rockstar website. One of the first things on the site is an introduction to our two protagonists – Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.

Jason is described as an ex -army soldier working for a local drug cartel. Meeting Lucia, his lover, “Could be the best or worst thing that has ever happened to him.” It seems to assume that their relationship becomes a central part of the game’s history.

The Rockstar Web site is down

It doesn’t look surprising that the Rockstar Games site is experiencing heavy traffic right now. It seems to be down, which is pretty frustrating as it was just updated with lots of juicy GTA 6 Info.

Fortunately, we managed to gather most of it before the site crashed – so hang close to the details!

The Descriptions of the Video reveal details

The description of the new trailer provides some interesting insight, namely through a lookup of shot plot that gives you a rough idea of ​​what to expect from the story this time.

“Vice City, USA,” it says. “Jason and Lucia have always known that the tire is stacked against them. But when a slight score goes wrong, they are on the darkest side of the sunny place in America, in the midst of a criminal conspiracy that extends over the state of Leonida – forced to trust each other more than ever if they will do it alive.”

This, together with dialogue in the trailer, finally confirms that the name of Lucia’s partner is actually Jason, something that has been rumored for some time.

This is not a drill – the latest trailer to GTA 6 has arrived. It gives us an extended look at the upcoming open world game with lots of amazing footage in the engine.
