- There has been another leak for Grand Theft Auto 6
- It’s supposedly from a former Rockstar animator
- The demo wheel shows a few scenes that give us clues about upcoming features, including bike rental stations and the ability to get on pickup beds
If you’re desperate for more GTA 6 leaks – and who isn’t at this point? – We’ve captured what is said to be some early animation work from the game that hints at potential features.
GameRant noticed a video (from Vimeo) flagged on Reddit, allegedly a demo compilation from an animator who used to be employed by Rockstar and did some prototype work on GTA 6.
That video has now been removed, but not before the demo wheel was widely documented (and no doubt downloaded for sharing elsewhere).
It shows a few interesting scenes that shed light on what we can see in Grand Theft Auto 6, one of which is Lucia (one of the main characters) jumping from the roof of a truck. The animations indicate that players might be able to ride in the bed of a pickup truck.
The second clue given here is an animated scene of a player character using a bike rental station, both grabbing a bike and mounting it, then dismounting and returning the vehicle to the station. It seems that this will be a way to get around Vice City in GTA 6.
Analysis: is this leak real?
Granted, these aren’t much in the way of teasers, but many gamers are hungry for everything they can learn about GTA 6. The anticipation only seems to have been heightened by the two major delays the potential player base has suffered (and sent gamers scrambling to find a suitably satisfying alternative to an open-world solution).
Is this a real leak though? We don’t know for sure, of course, but it certainly feels like an authentic piece of waste given the video’s format and the fact that it features other demo animation scenes from Red Dead Redemption 2 and Max Payne 3. There’s also been quite a fight to remove it, and the urgency to make it appear to be a legitimate look at GTA 6.
If so, I’d guess from the way this happened that it’s an accidental leak of a demo reel that was really only meant for potential employers to see (as a private video).
Who knows, in the end, but even if we could be sure that this is real, it only represents early work on GTA 6. This means that while Rockstar could have planned bike rental stations, and getting behind the pickups, back then, these are ideas that could have been abandoned since then.
For now, though, it’s left to wait for November 2026 to roll around – subject to further delays – and perhaps revisit the two official trailers, which we know are glimpses of the good gaming to come next year.
