Rawalpindi:
The FIA immigration has issued a political guideline for arresting people involved in crimes at airports and emphasizes a strong coordination between law treatment agencies to prevent suspects from fleeing abroad.
According to the guideline, the names and details of suspects or individuals who are at risk of escaping from abroad must be placed on the stop list, passport control list or exit checklist of the Ministry of the Interior and the Directorate -General for Passport and Immigration.
FIA Immigration will be authorized to stop such people at airports, land and south, says it. The guideline emphasizes that implementation must be secured in accordance with the laws and regulations.
IG from the Punjab police has issued orders to the leaders of police units, regions and districts throughout the province of strictly implementing the guideline, according to a two-page document seen by Express Pakinomist.
“The Directorate -General of Immigration and Passport, Islamabad and the Ministry of the Interior, Islamabad, are the only authorities to place or remove names from PCL and ECL,” the document states.
