Gwyneth Paltrow and Cameron Diaz are reportedly close friends.

The former girlfriend of Brad Pitt recently sat down for a confessional with Vanity Fair to their April edition.

In this chat, she talked about a myriad of different topics, and her long -term absence from Hollywood also came up.

By reflecting on her “absence from acting” Gwyneth revealed that Cameron Diaz urged her to take a hiatus from the screen.

“Cameron Diaz is one of my best friends, sorry for the name-drop,” she began.

Gwyneth continued to tackle that Cameron urged her to “think of the wealth and the elaboration of your life,” added, “it’s all material.”

“I’ve been going through a lot since the last time I was on screen in a real way,” she also noticed before moving to another topic.

For those who are not daring, Gwyneth Paltrow rose to fame in the 1990s and won an Oscar for her performance in Shakespeare in Love.

In the course of time, she moved her focus towards her lifestyle brand, Goop, and took a break from the screen.
