Pakistani actor Hania Aamir has dealt with a false statement circulating on social media, and rejected the claims that she had made political comments on the Pahagam attack on April 22 in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The fabricated submission attributed to her accused Pakistan’s military and appealed to the Indian Prime Minister.
Aamir denied the claims in an Instagram story and said, “I did not make this statement, and I did not support or stood that the words that were attached to me.”
She called the quote “completely made,” she said it wrong who she is and what she stands for.
In her message, Aamir offered compassion for those affected by the attack and called for empathy over guilt: “Pain like this is real, and it deserves empathy, not politicization.”
She warned against the assignment of collective guilt or scattered non -verified content and warned that such narratives only elaborate on departments. “The actions of the extremists do not represent a whole nation,” she said.
The quote had mistakenly portrayed Aamir as asking the Indian Prime Minister not to target innocent Pakistanis or the entertainment industry – she has rejected.
To end his post called on Aamir supporters to verify facts before sharing and called for an answer that is rooted in peace, truth and solidarity.
