HBO announces new ‘Harry Potter’ Show’s Role Authority

In the wake of months of speculation, HBO has announced casting of the new show about Harry Potter.

Although it did not include a complete list of role crew, the network confirmed that John Lithgow will play Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer will play Minerva McGonagall.

PAAPA ESSIEDU plays Severus Snape, Nick Frost plays Rubeus Hagrid, Luke Thallon will play defense against Dark Arts Professor Quirinus Quirrell, and Paul Whitehouse plays Hogwarts caretaker Argus Filch.

Besides Johns Casting did not come as a surprise when he had previously revealed his new role for Screenshrant.

“It came as a total surprise to me. I got the phone call at the Sundance Film Festival for another movie, and it wasn’t an easy decision because it will define me to the last chapter of my life, I’m scared,” he said.

“But I’m very excited. Some wonderful people return their attention to ‘Harry Potter.'”
