It: Welcome to Derry Finally, a first-look trailer and it seems that it is already about to be one of the best HBO Max shows.
The highly expected Stephen King Prequel has been teased for a while, but we had only had casting messages and some teaser images. But now we know much more about the series set for Premier later in the year – HBO says it will come “this fall”, with an accurate release date is still confirmed.
Look at the troubling new trailer below that brings us back to the damn fictional city of Derry, and introduces us to some of the residents unlucky enough to be haunted by its dark secrets.

What else do we know about it: Welcome to Derry?
Plot, we know that It: Welcome to Derry is set in 1962, 27 years before the events of Bill Skarsgård-led THE Movies released in 2017 and 2019 respectively.
We will again encounter the murderous unit known as Pennywise the Clown (although of course it may have many forms) that emerge every 27 years to swap on the Derry children and feed with their fears.
It: Chapter one and That chapter two: Was directed by Andy Muschietti, who is also the creator of this upcoming HBO Max adaptation. He is with his sister Barbara Muschietti and It: Chapter two‘s screenwriter, Jason Fuchs, who acts as co-creators in the nine-part series.
As well as Bill Skarsgård Reprises his role, It: Welcome to Derry The role also includes Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, Taylour Paige, James Remar and Stephen Rider, as local Derry residents – is currently the only named role Skarsgårds.
“This is a book we love a lot and we felt there was still a lot of history to be covered,” Andy and Barbara Muschietti told Entertainment Weekly.
“It’s so rich in characters and events we thought we would do justice to the book and fans by going back to this world. Specifically, we tell the stories of spaces, writings of Mike Hanlon based on his study, which includes interviews he conducts with the elderly in the city.
“IN Welcome to DerryWe touch on the usual themes spoken about in the film – friendship, loss, the power of overall faith – but this story also focuses on the use of fear as a weapon that is one of the things that is also relevant to our times. “
It: Welcome to Derry Marks the fifth time that the best -selling Stephen King novel has been adapted to the screen, but this is the first prequel story. With much more lore to explore, I really look forward to seeing how this series takes place.
