We can’t see it before 2027 but HBO has confirmed the production to Harry Potter TV show is officially underway. It will be available at HBO and HBO Max in the US respectively – although streaming globally, it is not yet confirmed.
We may not know what Hogwarts will look like in 2025, but we know well that the role crew is absolutely stacked. PAAPA ESSIEDU (SNAPE), John Lithgow (Dumbledore), Nick Frost (Hagrid), Janet McTeer (McGonagall) and Paul Whitehouse (Filch) lead the names we will recognize with a trio of Newcomers Dominic McLaughlin (Harry), Alastair Stout (Ron) and Arabella Stanton (Hermione).
The original Harry Potter Movies will never be forgotten, but it is fair to say that the new TV show is likely to be one of the most viewed programs of 2027. If the first look of one protagonist is something to pass by, fans will be excited about what is going to come.

If author Francesca Gardiner’s previous projects are something to pass by – namely the latest adaptation of His dark materials Trilogy – we might get something as dark as Deathly Hallows Right from the start.
The release window in 2027 is also recently confirmed, although we do not have an accurate release date at the time of writing.
