Islamabad:
Federal Minister for Communication Abdul Aleem Khan was chairman of an important meeting in National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP) on Thursday to review the overall performance, police implementation and future strategy for the strength.
When he expressed dissatisfaction with the current performance, the Minister issued a period of a week and instructed the motorway police to demonstrate clear improvement of performance and warned that strict measures will follow in the event of failure. He announced that fines will be imposed on vehicles exceeding 120 km/h, while FIRs will be registered against those driving over 150 km/h.
