- Hisense announces new 2025 TVs along with U-Series Mini-Led Models
- The new models include an OLED -TV, Hisense Q85Q
- Other models include a flagship mini-joint and a game-focused QLED
Hisense has revealed new TVs with his already announced U-series mini-led lineup, including an OLED model.
Hisense, who made some of the best TVs released in 2024, previously announced his mini-led lineup from 2025 consisting of Hisense U8Q, U7Q and U6Q. Now it has revealed A85Q OLED TV, successor to A85N, released in 2024, as well as the U7Q Pro Mini-LED, E7Q Pro Gaming QLED, and its 2025 canvas TV, a rival to Samsung’s The Frame. Hisense U9Q is absent from Hisense’s British press release, suggesting it will only be sold in the United States.
While we are a little light on the full specifications of these TVs, several things have been confirmed by Hisense. Hisense U7Q Pro has 75, 85 and 100-inch screen sizes and will include Hi-View AI Engine Pro, Hisense’s flagship processor, also found in Hisense U8Q. This has AI-based improvements such as AI depth (to a deeper image) and AI clear voice for improved dialogue.
A85Q OLED and E7Q Pro will include Step-Down Hi-View AI engine, which is also found in the U7QG Mini-LED. This will support AI image states and AI smooth motion for smoother viewing.
All models are likely to support both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ High Dynamic Range formats as this has been a feature of previous Hisense TVs.
Gaming is well covered for these TVs. Although there is no specific mention of game features, the U7Q Pro 165Hz, E7Q Pro supports 144Hz and A85Q supports 120Hz.
As for canvas TV, it comes in a 55-inch size along with a new 65-inch model. It will again use a mat screen (similar to Samsung The Frame) and have its own art mode.
All TVs will have free, the streaming service that allows you to watch live TV TV over Wi-Fi without the need for an antenna or satellite. Free will support the best streaming services such as Netflix and Disney Plus, as well as UK-based apps such as BBC iPlayer.
Prices are where it counts
Hisense has always been a bang-for-your-buck brand that offers feature-spotted TVs that deliver solid to great image quality and an almost full list of game features at a serious competitive price. Its set can be counted among the best mini-led TVs in recent years.
OLED, on the other hand, is still a relatively unknown to Hisense. It released Hisense A85N last year, and on paper it looks like LG B4, one of the best OLED TVs for them on a budget. B4’s 55-inch model was launched to £ 1,699, while A85N launched for an even cheaper £ 1,399. We haven’t tested the A85N so we can’t speak for its performance, but on paper it is a big saving.
If Hisense can do this again in 2025 against LG B5, which appears to launch at £ 1,699 for the 55-inch model again, there may be another challenger in the OLED market for Entry-Level, which is less competitive than middle class and flagship OLEDs.
As for its other TVs, we have had no price for any of the mini-led models in the UK yet, but they are definitely among the best prices. If Hisense spices the OLED award, it can be a threat to both the mini-led and OLED markets.
