Although Hoda Kotb loved her job, she was well aware of when it was the “real” time to leave it to discover new paths.
The 61-year-old recently embossed entrepreneur opened about his decision to leave NBC Morning exhibition and in spite of being a “very scary” movement, Hoda knew “That’s the real thing. ‘”
But the biggest task was “to convince everyone that it is the real thing,” she said People.
“I was preparing to speak the truth out loud and I think it was very scary. Because I knew what I was feeling and I knew what it was, but sometimes you wonder,” she remembered.
“I invited Libby [Leist] in. I remember my heart beating but I played music. I played ‘both sides now’ from the movie Coda, that version. But Libby went in and I had already put the tone around, ‘This is me, this is real.’ “
“And I didn’t know what to expect … and I didn’t know she would say how she said …” Kotb shared and noticed, “Do you know when you tell the truth and your body relaxes? That’s how it felt.
