Hoda Kotb is allegedly ready to take over Kelly Clarkson’s daytime.
According to Radar onlineHoda is in the last stages of conversations to replace Kelly as the host.
“Kelly is burnt out and ready to go, and bosses have their hearts put on Hoda to take over,” an insider told the business. “She’s the top competitor.”
Reports about Kelly’s personal problems have swirled for months now, suggesting that the singer after her divorce from Brandon Blackstock has fought and the daytime is taking a toll on the singer.
“She’s mentally finished,” the insider said.
This is coming after Stronger Hitmaker missed some episodes of her show in March and April, with several celebrities stepping in as a guest hosts.
Afterwards, she told her audience at a concert that she is not performing live so often because of the show.
The insider continued, “She is worried that her staff will lose their jobs, but if someone like Hoda steps in, the show will continue, which would be music to Kelly’s ears.”
Hoda who left Today Show after co-hosting for seven years, every network’s dream host is to sign.
“Hoda with her own talk show during the day is pure gold. She instantly connects with viewers, and networking meanders at the thought of locking her down,” shared the mole.
“Hoda is not desperate, but the number thrown around is simply too good to ignore. She is in control and knows her worth, but everyone expects a message from her very soon,” they added.
