Hoda Kotb is reportedly on the “list” of candidates to replace Kelly Clarkson in the middle of reports that the singer is leaving his daytime NBC talk show.

Thursday wasted an insider to The post that the 60-year-old journalist who left Today Show in January, is firm on the network’s list of names to take over Kelly’s talk show.

“There is a long list of names and Hoda is part of the list,” the confidential said. “NBC never wanted Hoda to leave. The question is, would Hoda do that?”

The source also told the business that NBC manufacturers want to replace Kelly with someone who already has a fanbase.

“Hoda is ticking a lot of boxes. She’s an Egyptian, older Kelly Clarkson,” said a tipster.

The source confirmed that HODA already has close relationships with the network leaders.

The news comes after reports suggested that Kelly is separating ways from her day show as her contract with NBC expires next year.
