Nintendo Indie World Showcase for August is officially wrapped and the 15 minutes were jams filled with messages about Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
While we didn’t see the long -awaited Hollow Knight: SilksongThere were plenty of other indiia to be excited about, including several Metroidvania acceases, a new debut project with Celeste‘s pixel artist and several titles available from today.
In case you missed it, here is all that was announced during the latest Indie World Showcase.
Mina the Hollower
From the developers of Shovel KnightAt Mina the Hollower Coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 31, 2025.
In this game you play like Mina, a famous shelves, on a quest to save a damn island. It is an action-adventure experience that shares the same pixel art style and music as Yacht Club Games’ previous games, with environmental hazards, monsters and a customized gear set.

Good drills is a dark adventure, metroidvania-style games from the creator of Crypt Custodian and IsletWith 2D platforming, side scrolling mechanics and scary looking boss battles.
Advertised for Nintendo Switch and release in 2026, you play as glitter, a small bird armed with a match stick to burn the evil queen to save her family before they become part of her royal dress.
On your journey, you will meet new characters and reunite all your protected siblings, snapped from the nest one night in a reversal of events that lead to coming from an unlikely, small hero.
Neverway
Neverway Is a debut game developed by Coldblood Inc., a study founded by the pixel artist behind the award-winning Celeste and TowerfallAnd with an original soundtrack of disasterpeace.

The game comes to Nintendo Switch in 2026.
Herling
Herling is a whole new game from okomotive, the creators of the recognized Much games and publishers of Firewatch.
In this adventure you started on a magnificent alpine expedition with a bunch of mysterious animals called Calicorns. As you rise on the mountain path, you will encounter creepy dangers, obstacles and beautiful views.
It is your mission to guide and protect Calicorns while avoiding dangers and solving environmental puzzles.
Described as “an emotional, wordless story of trust, survival and camaraderie during a great crossing through a fallen world”, Herling is on the way to Nintendo Switch and PC on August 21, 2025.

Glaciered is an action-adventure game developed by the Japanese Indie studio studio snowblind.
