While much of the focus on Apple’s “AWE DROPPING” event today will of course be on the iPhone 17 Series, we expect many more products to appear, including a set of newly updated AirPods Pro 3 headphones. But if you look forward to a bumper upgrade in this department, you may be able to empty your expectations.
That’s because prominent journalist Mark Gurman has claimed that Apple’s Airpods Pro 3 will miss “large” adjustments to two of its most important aspects: Audio and Active Noise Cancel (ANC).
It can come as a disappointment if you were hoping for improvements in these areas, as improved audio output is always a welcome addition. Instead, it seems that you will have to continue to wait for sound changes for a while longer.
According to the recent rumors, AirPods Pro 4 is expected to be the “more significant” update, but that does not mean that today’s message does not bring any good news …
Focus on other features
Fortunately, this news is not as important as it may look. First, Apple’s AirPods Pro headphones are already supplied with excellent audio and ANC, with our AirPods Pro 2 review that noted that they offered “phenomenal” sound quality and “really amazing” ANC.
Even if AirPods Pro 3 is not expanded at all on these aspects, you will still be in a treat -albeit one that is not as sweet as a new H3 chip or ANC improvements cut.
It’s still not like AirPods Pro 3 will be carbon copies of their predecessors – they are expected to come up with a number of new features and extras. It includes pulse tracking that will use LED sensors to measure your blood flow with the possibility that this info can be synchronized to popular health and fitness apps.
We could also see a new design, according to the rumors. The case could also get a new look with a slimmer look that is more related to the AirPods 4 case.
