How Nick Reiner Copes Arrested for Rob Reiner’s Mother’s Death

Rob Reiner and Michele’s son Nick are suspected of murder

Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner’s son, Nick Reiner, is currently in custody after being charged with his parents’ murder, and his time in prison is reportedly grim.

The 32-year-old filmmaker is confined to the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in downtown Los Angeles, where he was moved on December 15.

Nick has been on suicide watch since his arrest and is ordered to wear a suicide prevention vest at all times, which he was also seen wearing during his first court appearance.

The accused author is reportedly kept in complete solitary confinement and is only allowed to interact with his authorized legal authorities, a source said People Magazine.

Nick is also under constant surveillance via video camera, which remains under the authority of the escorting officer.

“This is important so that no one compromises this high-profile case and so that no civilians or prisoners can ask him questions such as why he killed his parents,” they told the newspaper.

While reports have surfaced of Nick’s troubled mental health and schizophrenia diagnosis, the source confirmed that he is being evaluated by mental health professionals every day and will remain on suicide prevention watch until doctors declare him safe.
