Why is rumble banned in Brazil?
In February 2025, a Brazilian Supreme Court confirmed that Rumble would be banned in the South American country to allegedly refuse to comply with court decisions.
Among the reasons for the decision was the video sharing platform that allowed Allan Dos Santos, a refugee of Brazilian law and a rigorous supporter of controversial former President Jair Bolsonaro, to continue to place on the spot.
Rumble said in a statement that it faces “unprecedented censorship in Brazil” and continues to fight the action.
