Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced 8070 Ramadan Relief Package 2025, an RS20 billion initiative to support low -income families over Pakistan ahead of the Holy Month Ramzan.
The scheme aims to give 4 million eligible families cash assistance of RS10,000 as well as subsidies to important foods through a streamlined digital distribution system. This system is designed to replace the long queues in auxiliary stores previously seen under Ramadan.
Two-layer relief initiative
8070 Ramadan Relief Package consists of two components:
Cash assistance: Qualified families receive RS10,000 in direct financial support to help with household expenses under Ramadan.
Ration supplements: Discounts will be delivered to important foods, including flour, sugar, impulses, ghee and rice.
To qualify for the 8070 Ramzan Relief package, applicants must meet the following requirements:
Criteria for eligibility for Ramadan Auxiliary package
Be registered under Benazir Income Support Program (Bisp) or EHSAAS program.
Does not receive financial support from any other government’s relief program.
Possess a valid computerized national identity card (CNIC).
Registration process
Qualified persons can apply via the official PSER portal by entering their CNIC and mobile phone number and filling out the registration form. Alternatively, applicants can send their CNIC number via SMS to 8070 to check eligibility and receive additional instructions.
Payment of funds
To ensure a smooth distribution of funds, the government has introduced several payment channels:
- Bank transfers: funds are transferred directly to accounts in HBL, UBL and Bank Alfalah.
- Mobile wallets: Recipients can access funds through Easypaisa and Jazzcash.
- Ehsaas -Program Centers: The without Bank Accounts can collect their help from designated Ehsaas centers.
- Union Council offices: Finally verification and collection of funds are available at local government offices.
The government has called on eligible families to complete their registration as soon as possible to avoid delays in receiving help. As the registration deadline is approaching, early registration is encouraged to ensure timely payment of funds.
In an official statement, the Prime Minister’s office highlighted, “The 8070 Ramadan -Nut Help Package is designed to facilitate the financial burden of fighting families and ensure that they have access to important food supplies under Ramzan.”

Previously, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who spoke at the preliminary ceremony for the Ramadan package in the federal capital, revealed that this year four million families (about 20 million people) will be delivered RS 5,000 per year. Household through a digital wallet.
