The British reality show Gladiators has become a Saturday night sensation, averaging 5.3 million viewers and becoming the most watched entertainment series on BBC iPlayer. Season 3, which premiered on January 17th, continues that momentum thanks to new games and events.
This exciting competition features ordinary people taking on elite athletes (known as Gladiators) who are strong and highly trained competitors. Of course, their goal is not necessarily to beat the Gladiators, but to do enough to collect points.

Destruction: Two contestants face a Gladiator with the objective of pressing a button in the center of the arena. But to get there, they must break through four eight-foot-tall barriers, each requiring a different technique.
Everest: A challenger faces a Gladiator on a narrow suspended platform 21 feet above the floor. The aim is to push the opponent off the platform by moving a massive perspex wall weighing around 220kg to a point where the opponent has nowhere to stand and falls.

Gladiators season 3 opened with a new Celebrity Special, where four famous faces took on the Gladiators in a riveting competition.
