Clock Milan-San Remo 2026 live streams to see who will emerge victorious in the first of the five classic races this season, with all eyes on Tadej Pogačar and Mathieu van der Poel as they renew one of the sport’s great rivalries. The 117th edition of La Classicissima di primavera – The spring classic of the classics – is one not to be missed.
The pair will meet for the first time this season after several thrilling battles in 2025, including in this particular race where Van der Poel sprinted to victory. The Alpecin-Premier Tech rider enters this year’s race in good form, having triumphed at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and won two stages at Tirreno-Adriatico.
However, he will expect a serious challenge from Pogačar, who is seeking his first Milan-San Remo victory. The 27-year-old Slovenian was third in 2025, but along with Paris-Roubaix, this is one of only two monuments the four-time Tour de France champion has yet to win.
He should certainly be full of confidence after his dominant season debut win at Strade Bianche a week ago. He can also call on the support of his UAE Team Emirates-XRG teammate, Isaac del Toro, who has just won Tirreno-Adriatico.
Other names to watch out for in the 298km race are Wout van Aert, Milan-Torino winner Tom Pidcock and last year’s MVDP runner-up Filippo Ganna, while the women’s race has an equally impressive field that includes reigning champion Lorena Wiebes, Demi Vollering and the Visma duo, Pauline Ferrand-Prevot gold in 201s Olympic Road and Marianne.
