Although it doesn’t seem to have hurt them yet, until Enrique’s arrival PSG were living proof that it was only a matter of time. The Spaniard discovered the cure for Ligue 1 ennui last season and it appears to still be working, as illustrated by their come-back-by-behind 2-1 win over Barcelona last month.
What remains fascinating about PSG’s approach is the collectivity. Desire Doue, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Goncalo Ramos and Nuno Mendes are their joint top scorers in the UCL this season with two apiece. Ousmane Dembélé is yet to get off the mark and it hasn’t hurt them – so far.
