Detective Hana Li’s (Jing Lusi) feet are planted firmly on the ground in Red Eye season 2, but when a party at the US Embassy and a government plane with MI5 Director General Madeline Delaney (Lesley Sharp) and US Defense Secretary Alex Peterson (Nicholas Rowe) are hijacked at the same time, leaving her no choice but to team up with Clay Brody (Martin Compston), the flight begins with Dr. Matthewyllic Nolan more like a sense of pause.
You can see Red Eye season 2 online anywhere with a VPN and potentially free.
What brought Hana to the embassy in the first place was an investigation into the murder of a diplomatic courier at Heathrow, whose documents were stolen before the message could be delivered. As the bodies begin to pile up, it soon becomes clear that there is a killer in their midst.
Then a game of cat and mouse begins, albeit on a much larger scale than first thought. When the perpetrator promises to blow up the jet if anyone leaves the US embassy, there is no longer any doubt that this is a coordinated political event.
What Hana can do without is the hierarchical bickering. It’s not clear what went down between Hana and head of embassy security Clay during their time together at the police academy, but there’s a reason he went the private route — and takes such satisfaction in (attempting to) pull rank.
