Karachi is expected to experience rising temperatures over the last 10 days of Ramadan, with the intensity of the heat forecast to rise from March 20, according to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz.

However, Sarfraz mentioned that the weather would remain relatively comfortable in the early days of Ramadan. “Days will be relatively hot, but nights will be more comfortable due to sea breeze,” he explained.

In current weather conditions, PMD predicts a slight increase in the cold wave over the next two days, with temperatures expected to fall to approx. 10-12 ° C Tuesday and Wednesday night.

The temperature Monday was detected at 13.5 ° C. Wind winds are currently blowing at a speed of 7 kilometers per hour from the north, with moisture levels of 32%.

Meanwhile, MET Office has expected mainly cold and dry weather over most parts of the country over the next 24 hours.

However, rain is expected together with wind and thunderstorms (and snowfall over higher mountain areas) in isolated regions of Kashmir, northeast Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In addition, it is easily expected to moderate fog in spots of northeastern Punjab in the morning hours.

PMD also noted that continental air is currently prevalent over large parts of the country. A western wave is expected to approach the western and upper parts of the country later tonight.
