Hulk Hogan died in Florida last week at the age of 71 of a heart attack, according to officials.
The Pro Wrestling legend had a history of atrial fibrillation (AFIB), a heart disease that causes an irregular and rapid heartbeat, page six reported Thursday with reference to Pinella’s County Forensic Science Center.
Medical items showed that he had chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a cancer that affects white blood cells reported the outlet.

Hogan went to cardiac arrest last Thursday and died at the age of 71.
The news of Hogan’s death came weeks after he is alleged to have a health crisis. However, his widow, Sky Daily Hogan, refused these reports at the time and said he was “strong” and recovered after surgery.
She admitted in an emotional social media post that he “had dealt with some health problems, but I really thought we would overcome them.”
“I had so much belief in his strength. I thought we still had more time,” Daily Hogan wrote.
TMZ SPORTS First reported the news of Hogan’s passing, citing a possible “cardiac arrest” in his home in Clearwater, Florida.
The Clearwater Police Department later confirmed that emergency staff had responded to a medical call just before 1 p.m. 10, Hogan was treated at the site of a cardiac arrest before being transported to Morton Plant Hospital, where he was declared dead.

Hogan became the most important babyface for what was then the Wrestling Association in the world and spent decades in the industry. He won several world championships and was twice introduced in the WWE Hall of Fame, the first time in 2005 and the other in 2020 as a member of the new world order.
In 2024 he founded Real American beerappropriately named after his walk-out music in his time as a wrestler. He also founded Real American Freestyle, a wrestling promotion, in April 2025. Hogan performed sporadic performances with WWE in his later years and made his last performance in January 2025 in Los Angeles.
Hogan was to join the former pro wrestling director Eric Bischoff in a new venture called Real American Freestyle. It was a new attempt to put freestyle wrestling on the map. Hogan also dipped the toe in the political waters. He stumped to president Donald Trump On the Republican National Convention and on a Madison Square Garden Rally last year.

He is credited to help put today’s WWE on the card. Shelves poured in from all over the sports world, and WWE made a 10-clock greeting on last Friday’s edition of “Smackdown!” The day after Hogan’s death.
