Jimmy Hart, Hulk Hogan’s Long friend and former manager were shocked by the news of the Wrestling icon’s death this week and revealed that he had heard good news about Hogan’s health just a day before his passing.
The WWE The Hall of Famer remembered his last moments with Hogan in an interview with people on Friday. He said he had called Hogan on Wednesday and talked to his assistant who had assured Hart that the former wrestler had “done well.”

“I called [Hogan] Wednesday night, and then Thursday morning it is when everything took place, ”Hart told to Outlet. “So just … Just overnight it all happened, but it was so positive the day before.”

Hogan allegedly underwent neck surgery earlier this year – the latest on a long list of operations that include at least 25. Hart said he had not seen his friend of concern for his recovery.
“It just hits so fast,” he said of Hogan’s death. “It was like ‘oh my God.’ We thought he was doing so well, you know?
Hart told people that he had last seen Hogan about a month before his passing, and that he had been in a good mood and talked to fans.

“Well, tell him I love him,” Hart remembered the last message he shared to Hogan’s assistant.
The original reports on Wednesday indicated that Hogan was suffering a medical emergency in his home in Florida Thursday morning.
The Clearwater Police Department later confirmed that emergency staff responded to a medical call just before 7 p.m. 10 at Hogan’s residence. He was treated at the site of a cardiac arrest before being transported to Morton Plant Hospital, where he was declared dead.
The news of Hogan’s death came weeks after he is alleged to have a health crisis. However, his wife, Sky Daily, refused these reports at the time and said he was “strong” and was recovering from surgery.

Like Hart, she published a statement on Friday morning and revealed his shock to his “sudden” passing.
“I wasn’t ready for this … and my heart is broken,” read her message. “He had been dealing with some health problems, but I really thought we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time.”
