Huzaifa Waleed Gill secures silver to Pakistan by European shooting championship

The Pakistani shooter Huzaifa Waleed Gill won a silver medal in the 800-yard individual event at the European F-Class Long Range Championship 2025 held in the UK, according to official competition results.

The event contained participation from over 260 shooters representing 18 countries, including the United States, Canada, Germany, Britain and Pakistan.

Pakistan was represented by a 12-member team who scored 1,106 points out of a possible 1,200 confirmed the official report of the championship.

Team Pakistan officials at the scene confirmed that Gill’s performance raised the Pakistani flag on the global scene and highlighted her dedication and efforts over months of strict practice and preparation for international competitions. Gill’s performance has brought recognition to Pakistan in the global shooting circuit.

The European F-Class Long Range Championship is an annual competition governed by the International Shooting Association, which contains standardized events with long-range for individual sliders.

The 2025 edition included several events in which 800-yard individual events show Gill’s silver-winning performance.

A post shared at the National Long Range Shooting Association of Pakistan’s Instagram grip also confirmed the medal victory.

Officials from Team Pakistan declared that Gill’s performance reflects her commitment and endurance as she underwent intensive training to compete at the highest international level. “Her hard work and discipline have set a benchmark for hopeful shooting games in Pakistan,” a spokesman said for the team.

Pakistan’s participation in the championship brands continued involvement in global shooting competitions with future events planned throughout Europe and Asia.
