This year, the 75th anniversary of the very first peanut cartoon is marking, and to mark it, Pro-Project has created a peanut theme record player with Charlie Brown on the acrylic record and music-inspired peanuts panels on the record player. All you have to do is find a suitable record to play on it, such as-ahem-snoop-y doggy doggy.
Under the cartoon you can find a belt-driven turntable based on Pro-Proje’s excellent T1 BT record player. It is the model with a built-in phono scene as well as Bluetooth transmission to transmission to wireless speakers or headphones.
Pro-Project Peanuts Turntable: Key Functions and Price
Pro-bearing Peanuts dial is handmade in Europe and has precision CNC-Machin chassis and Pro-Ject’s signature in one piece of aluminum tone arm. It comes with an orthophone of 10-cartridge.
The Peanuts record player is a release of limited edition, and although it is based on T1 BT, there are a few changes-the acrylic record plate for one, but there is also a newly designed underplate for the belt system. It is mounted in an ultra-precise 0.001 mm main bearing with a hardened steel shaft and brass bushing. The glass dish that sits under Charlie Brown’s face is a heavy design of zero resonance.
The turntable will be launched in High End Munich this week and will be available in June from pro-jists and authorized retailers. The official price is £ 579 / € 599 (approx. $ 763 / AU $ 1,190)
