A wet and dry vacuum is a good choice if you are dealing with lots of mud or waste on your hard floor and don’t want to mop every other day. While they can be excellent at tackling hard spots, they often have quite voluminous designs and can fight to get close to the edges of the rooms. So I was particularly interested in getting some practical time with the Dream H15 Pro, which has a smart solution to this problem.
This wet-floor cleaner has a chip at the front of the floor head that can sense as it approaches a wall. This triggers the mop roll to change forward so that it is as close to the wall as possible, and at the same time a barrier falls along the front of the floor head, so the mop does not actually mop your wall or baseboard or skirt. Dream calls this ‘Triple Edge cover’ and it’s an idea I haven’t seen before, even among the best wet and dry vacuum on the market.
In fact, it’s closer to something we tend to look at Hybrid Mop-and-Vacuum Robovacs. Some of today’s best robot wacuum have mop pads that can kick out when the bot crosses along the edge of a room, so there is not an undeveloped hole.
While it is still chunkier than, for example, a stick vacuum, Dream has made additional design adjustments to make the H15 Pro as maneuverable as possible. The handle can fall completely flat on the ground so you can clean under furniture. On some wet-dry vacuum, suction will decrease when the detergent is laid flat to prevent water from entering the engine, but the H15 Pro is designed, so there is no loss of suction. When we talk about it, it can achieve an ultra-powerful 21,000 Pa.

Another innovation that caught sight of this detergent is its self -cleaning process. Many wet -dry dry wet dryes have a kind of self -cleaning cycle to make maintenance easier, but the H15 Pro is the first I’ve seen to give its mops a bath after use.
When the self -cleaned cycle is activated, a tray is filled in the base with hot (212f / 100c) water that immerse the rollers, rather than just dampen them. The rollers then turn to clean the dirt and grease. When it is completed, the space is sealed and they burst with hot air for five minutes to dry them.
I had to check the H15 Pro at the large opening of Dreame’s new flagship UK store in Birmingham and I was impressed. Especially lying flat design works very well and the cleaning agent is comfortable to use and easy to maneuver. The triple cleaning seemed a little more temperamental during my practical time, but I am willing to give it the benefit of the doubt until we had a chance to try it properly.
The Dream H15 Pro will be sold in the UK in March. We have asked about pricing and launching information to the US and Australia, and we will update this article when we get it.
