Whether you have the best Apple Watch on the market, a humble Apple Watch see 2 or even an older model, Watcho’s home to an abundance of options is buried in hooks and hooks in the settings menus that can do or break your Apple Watch experience.

1. Does not update your fitness goals

That said, there is an aspect you may have forgotten about and these are your fitness goals. You choose your fitness goals when you create a new Apple Watch for the first time.
If you don’t buy a new Apple Watch every year or you restore your new model from a backup, there’s a chance you haven’t looked at your goals in yearAnd as such, it may be time to change them.
If you set relatively modest goals when you first got your Apple Watch and find that you crush them daily, it might be time to increase these goals and push yourself a little more.
Suppose your movement target is a very low number of calories or you set your stand -dimensions to a warm one hour because you would just get on using your Apple Watch. Why not revise these goals and give yourself a lift? Conversely, if you are struggling to hit goals that are too ambitious, why not revise them to more modest levels to help increase your motivation?
To change your fitness goals just go to Activity App on your watch, scroll down and press -+ Icon in the lower right corner to change your goals. Remember to apply the principles of progressive overload here. Fortunately, if you manage 10 minutes of training, you can try 15 or 20 but not overdo it and go to 60-plus-self 15 is an increase of 50%.
Do not manage your messages
Even the most basic message management on your Apple Watch will save you a world of frustration. Having dings and pinger on-wrist sounds good, but after 10 minutes you will find the Apple Watch messages funny annoying.
Notifications from your Apple Watch, especially superfluous, are distracting and draining your battery. At least you need the Apple Watch don’t interfere to get some postponement – just remember that this also dims your iPhone.
A more effective way to manage your messages is to use the Focus MODE feature on your iPhone, which can help silk messages while at work, exercise or just try to get some personal downtime.
Finally, go to Notifications Section of the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and switch, like apps from your iPhone, you want to see messages from on your Apple Watch – I guarantee you are turning off half of them and your wrist will thank you for it.
Formulation of this list I settled on emergency contacts like my last choice with a chuckle. “Who hasn’t emergency contacts created on Apple Watch?” I spotted calmly to myself.

I thought I did, but I’m not sure why. Maybe I assumed it was automatic, or maybe I was thinking of doing it once and then never coming to it.
In your Apple Watch -App you have to go to Enjoyed SOSScroll down to emergency contacts to check yours. If your Apple Watch automatically calls emergencies after a crash or autumn, or if you do it manually by holding the side button, your watch can also automatically notify relatives and friends of your situation, including information about your location.
You should definitely check that you have a list of contacts including friends and dear in there. You must also verify that all contacts you have created are still relevant and that their numbers have not changed. The Apple Watch Emergency SOS feature is an important security tool that Tim Cook has used, so don’t be a plum like me.
