In less than a month’s time Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm the Great Screen in Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps all over the globe. And with its premiere -date of July 25, which is fast approaching, Disney and Marvel square are focused on the first family’s reintroduction in the filming universe.
I have itched to watch the highly expected movie ever since the first teaser trailer to The Fantastic Four: First Steps was released and while the last trailer for the first step has got my voltage levels on new heights, the film’s merchandise looks just as exciting to the tide over. I had the chance to check out all the new first step products and drops – yes, there is a new LEGO set with Family Plus and Galactus – plus some impressive watches from citizen and fossil.
More important, however, is that I met the cartoon family’s robot Herbie in real life, and it has left me even more excited about the film. Mainly because I want to see how this robot will play a role in the movie as it is Fantastic’s faithful assistant and helps around the home. It was an impressive robot demo, and yes, Herbie was plenty of fun and had a pretty busy week, from hanging out at this event in NYC to performing at a few other events and even finding time to visit a theater or two.
Unfortunately, a life size, fully functional herbie robot is not for sale. The robot along with the four fantastic, including ‘The Thing’, will eventually debut at Tomorrowland at Disneyland Resort in California later this summer. The good news is still that there are some impressive products available now or on order, with shipping dates scheduled for later in the year.
Ahead I share my favorite choices from The Fantastic Four Collections.

My favorite The Fantastic Four: First Steps Merchandise
I update this as we get closer to launch and more products end up falling. One of them will be a return of the classic ‘The Thing’ hands that actually smash and bash when you hit them together. These were a lot of fun in a quick demo.
Probably the most exciting part of the products that fall to celebrate the movie would be a new watch from Fossil. While it may not be as smart as devices with sensors and a screen that the Apple Watch Series 10 or Galaxy Watch 7, it certainly has its benefit.
It is modeled by what Reed Richards (alias Mister Fantastic) will carry in the film and scream retro, but also suggests the future. In addition, it has an LCD screen to show the time, and a secondary analog watch is located at the bottom. It has several decorations, including a fantastic 4 -logo in blue at the bottom, centered. However, the majority of the hull is made of silvervaluminum with calls and buttons located on the right side.
The replica is fascinating because it looks like a watch you may have carried in the 1960s or 1970s, but it never actually existed for one of the decade. It looks like a small TV on your wrist, but with a monochrome digital main screen that can only tell you the time. There are quite a few buttons, but they are more like a puzzle where you need to find out which ones are doing something. We call it the rare gadget that forces through pure will of its false nostalgia.
The clock falls on July 7, 2025 and is probably a tough, limited edition where only 904 are produced. It is launched together with a more modern, circular 48 mm case, Galactus-themed watch with a fantastic graphic watch and slim shades of purple. It is also limited to the fact that 683 is produced.
There is also a fantastic watch that falls from citizen replacing the classic four prominent furniture on a clock surface with a nod for the four heroes in the film. All of these details will sit over a light blue main clock face and the whole construction of watches is from Citizen’s Super Titanium material. However, it is a limited edition; A specific number of devices have not been shared.
