Queen Camilla’s son Thomas Parker Bowles recently sat down to discuss his financial situation as well as his thoughts.
The son of the current queen consort ofed some of the inner work on this during an interview about Question time for white wine Podcast.
According to the Queen’s son, his upbringing was not as expected.
He even admitted to being ‘grateful’ to his money because they made him build a career in food writing instead of focusing on a guaranteed amount of his parents.
He also set the record just about Trust Funds and said, “Unfortunately no Trust Fund.” Before I added, “You actually know it’s a good thing that I don’t have a Trust Fund. I would probably be dead if I had had one.”
He did not end there, and rather added, “it was clear that I had to work like everyone. You know you have to work. It’s important. I stumbled something into food writing 25 years ago when the landscape was pretty different.”
With regard to his experience, he explained that he “had worked for a wonderful film PR -company called DDA”, which allowed him to be near celebrities.
“So you would take Alicia Silverstone around London in the 90s or Anna Friel, or whatever. But in the end was enough. I was fired …” he added near the end and signed.
For those who are not dared, the son of the current Monarch’s wife published a book in 2024 entitled Cooking & The Crown: Royal Recipes from Queen Victoria to King Charles III, which shows royal eating habits and the like.
