8. Netflix revealed the date of its tudum -exhibition window
Netflix has a large content exhibition window every year called Tudum (the sound made by the Netflix app when it is launched), and we now know that the 2025 extravaganza will take place late on May 31 in the US and early on June 1 in Britain and Australia.
There are plenty of reasons to put in, based on the Tudum 2025 trailer. We should get updates about some of the greatest features Netflix has, including Stranger Things. Octopus gamesand Wednesdayas well as the third movie in Knives out Franchise.
7. We reviewed the world’s best bluetooth speaker
JBL has a very strong reputation when it comes to portable Bluetooth speakers, and the brand new flip 7 only improves this reputation further: It has just earned five stars out of five in our in-depth JBL Flip 7 review and our writers really don’t give that score easy.
The speaker has tremendously impressed us with regard to its design, building quality and battery life, and of course there is also the beautiful punchy and detailed sound. It offers a much larger and much better sound image than you would expect, given its compact dimensions.
6. Nothing launched another impressive budget phone
Nothing continues to release devices that perfectly balance performance and price, with the latest gadget to spot being CMF Phone 2 Pro. Yours for just $ 279 / £ 219 (around AU $ 460) from next week it seems to be one of the best cheap phones in 2025.
It’s not all because nothing also revealed CMF buds 2, Buds 2 Plus and Bud 2A, which in turn brought more expensive units to shame in terms of value for money. Not only are these new gadgets attractive priced, they also offer stylish, eye -catching design.
5. Openai Fixed Chatgpts ‘annoying’ personality
It is always refreshing to see a technical company admit that it has made a mistake and after noting that GPT-4o’s personality had become “too Sycophant-y and annoying,” Openai CEO Sam Altman promised that corrections rolled out to correct the problems this week.
The essence of the problem has been that Chatgpt has tried too hard to be human, with too many flattering remarks and too many false -sounding expressions of excitement. It turns out that most of us like our AI companions to admit their artificiality.
4. Starlink’s satellite internet got a tempting ‘free’ offer
Starlink’s efforts to try to connect the most cut off and remote parts of the world to the Internet continues, and the latest offer from the company rejects the hardware setup fee for new subscribers as long as they commit to at least 12 months to the satellite service.
It is a huge saving of $ 349 in the US, for example, but not everyone is justified to get the money off. For starters, it is only available on the “Select Markets” (check the Starlink site to see if you qualify) and there are also some additional terms and conditions that are linked to.
3. GTA 6 was delayed until 2026
Say this is not the case: The most expected video game in recent years is no longer being launched this year. Rockstar play had promised we would see Grand Theft Auto 6 By 2025, but has now announced that the title will be pushed back and will be revealed on May 26, 2026.
The reasons are the usual of this kind of delay that the fans “expect and deserve” the best possible experience and so on. Next year we could find it GTA 6 Fans actually deserve to wait a little longer than May – but it’s left to see.
The smart glasses made of Meta and Ray-Ban have helped push this gadget form factor further against mainstream, so we are glad to see what’s coming next: And what’s coming next will seem to be more new versions of the specifications arriving later in the year.
Meta chief Mark Zuckerberg went to the post in a earnings report to say that the range would “expand” in 2025 and offer some “new technological capabilities”. We also got some ideas about what Zuckerberg could mean and what improvements we might see.
Chatgpt announced a big upgrade to its online shopping skills this week, with the idea that you can have a natural, interactive conversation with AI about the products you want and the budget you have been given and get some appropriate shopping options in return.
We have already tested the new features and they have the potential to completely transform the way we shop online – provided you trust AI to choose the right things for you. If you would rather do more of the research yourself, you may still prefer the old ways.
