Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday disposed of the petition from a Class 21 office in the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) against ignoring her for

Promote after the issuance of an office morandum on the case related to her promotion to the next class.

IHC Justice Raja Inam Amin Minhas heard the petition filed by Shah Bano Ghaznavi. The judge said her petition was disposed of, but added that a written order would be issued.

During the hearing, the pads even came to Rostrum to tackle the court. She said she was a senior officer in FBR, but she was held in the “admin pool” for many years. Because that, she said, her juniors officers were promoted while her rights were violated.

She requested the court to consider her plea and issue orders for the involvement of her name in the processing of the High Power Promotion Board. Deputy Judicial Attorney Faisal Irfan Advocate informed the court that the establishment department had begun to prepare for the high power board.
