Islamabad High Court (IHC) has postponed until October 16 the consultation of pleas seeking suspension of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his spouse Bushra Bibi’s judgments in the £ 190m case. On Thursday, a division bench consisting of IHC High Court Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar and Justice Muhammad Azam Khan, the petitions filed by the couple against the 17th of January approval from a court of responsibility. National Accountability Bureau (NAB) prosecutor Rafiq Maqsood informed the court that the responsible watchdog’s special prosecutor in this case was seriously ill and could not show up. He requested a postponement. Advisor for the Petries, Barrister Salman Safdar, said that Nab always uses delay of tactics. "It requires effort to get the case listed for consultation. I spent all night studying binders while they enjoyed. At least they should have informed me," he said. The court gave Nab a last option and exposed procedures until October 16. During the hearing, KP cm Ali Amin Gandapur and PTI founders were present in the courtroom.
