IHC presses the government to fill in Patwari -post

Islamabad:

Islamabad High Court (IHC) was informed on Tuesday that the establishment department and the Ministry of the Interior have approved the filling of 35 unemployed Patwari positions in the federal capital, but the Ministry of Finance has not yet granted its approval.

During the hearing, justice expressed Mohsin Akhtar Kayani hope that the government would fill the vacant attitudes before the next consultation. The case concerns the employment of private individuals in Patwarkhana’s (income offices) across Islamabad.

By appearing in court, State Attorney Abdur Rehman presented reports from the establishment department and the Ministry of the Interior and confirmed that approval had been granted to fill the 35 vacancies.

Justice Kayani noted that the court expected the Ministry of Finance and the government to speed up the process, observing that delays in basic administrative affairs were unacceptable.

The judge expressed dissatisfaction with private individuals allegedly working at government offices, the judge said: “It seems that neither the secretaries nor anyone else is able to deal with this case.
