Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was forced to scale the border wall of Mazar-E-Shuhada at Naqshband Saib in Srinagar to pay respect for the martyrs on July 13, 1931 in the middle of restrictions.

On July 13, 1931, about 22 Kashmiris was martyrated by the troops in Dogra Maharaja for acting outside the central prison in Srinagar in support of Abdul Qader, who was indicted for starting people to defy the dogra rule.

The Indian forces sealed the cemetery and imposed restrictions on the movement of political leaders and blocked Kashmiri leaders from visiting the place on the anniversary of a 1931 uprising.

By going to X, Abdullah wrote: “My respect and offered Fatiha at the tombs of the martyrs on July 13, 1931. The non -elected government tried to block my path and forced me to go from Nawhatta Chowk. They blocked the gate to Naqshband SB Shrine who forced me to scale a wall.”

In a speech with the media later, he said a security bunker was placed outside his residence to prevent his visit. “Today I didn’t inform anyone. I drove calmly here myself,” he added.

Visuals from the stage also showed senior NC leader Sakina Itoo, who arrived at the scene of a scooty.
