The bone temple should answer a larger question
Big spoilers to 28 years later From here.
28 years later Had everyone talk to his sudden, confusing ending. Some people loved it, others hated it but one thing is ready: we need to know what is going on.
As a reminder, Danny Boyle’s expected follow -up film ended with a dark comic scene where Spike was rescued by a bisarr cult. It was crushing because it felt so out of place considering the rest of the film, and thus the division among the audience.
Here we saw Jack O’Connell dressed Jimmy Savile with his cult ‘The Jimmies’, who were all dressed up as him too. We saw a lot of O’Connell in the trailer, so here we hope we get some answers about why the culture has styled itself after the disgraceful TV program leader. Spike seems trapped in their circle and there is a real opportunity for director Nia Dacosta to refine the culture and give us some answers.
In addition, we have Ralph Fiennes back as Dr. Ian Kelson, a former doctor and survivor of the outbreak who appears to be an important part of the successor.
I am really looking forward to seeing this and I hope to have some loose ends tied, as 28 years later Set the scene for an interesting story.
