- Hollow Knight Silksong is out now and the reactions have been postiive
- However, some players have complained about the high level of difficulty, but
- Most criticisms center on the fact that many enemies deal with double damage
Hollow Knight: Silksong Finally, here is and it is clear that the indie game is already a massive hit. It is recorded the cards on the PC Gaming Platform Steam, with more than 535,213 players at once at its peak.
While player reactions have so far been most positive, some have taken problems with its difficulties, which is said to be significantly higher than the first game. Players have vented their frustrations in threads on the Silksang Subbreddit.
“I feel like they really over -use double damage so far,” said a poster, referring to the fact that frames from many enemies remove two masks, icons in the game’s health meter, rather than one.
“Touching [an enemy] should only ever be one [mask]Some of Hitboxes have felt a little bumpy, and accidentally touching them for two masks is the rough part for me, “agreed with a commentator.
“Have had a really tough time physically and mentally (especially mentally),” added another. “[I] Looking forward to my most expected game ever after having the worst work day ever, really got hyped, sat down, played it, it made the depression worse […] I’m sorry I don’t like it and I’m sorry that I’m not good enough for the game to like it. “
“There’s too much double damage,” read another thread. “A bunch of random enemies do it too! It’s honestly just annoying.”
“I’m glad I’m not the only one. Double injury in the first game was reserved for late game managers and slow, big hits,” a reply said. “From get-go look random ass-things to do double damage.”
Hollow Knight: Silksong is now available for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
