Chief of Army Staff (Coas) General Syed Asim Munir admonished on Wednesday University and University Students from all over the country to impress ‘Pakistaniat’ and strive for expertise in their academic persecutions and develop skills that would allow them to contribute positively to it national progress.
The Army Chief, who approached a collection of university and university students representing youth from all over Pakistan, emphasized the importance of “Pakistan’s history, culture and values in the intellectual development of our youth,” said the inter-services of the inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a press release.
In his address, according to the military’s media wing, the army chief shared perspective on the impact of external environment on Pakistan, especially the threat of cross -border terrorism. He also highlighted the role of the Pakistani army in protecting the sovereignty and integrity of the country.
He praised the youth for their “energy, creativity and ability” to innovate and said they were the future leaders of Pakistan. He urged students to strive for expertise in their academic persecution and to develop skills that would enable them to contribute positively to the country’s progress.
In the apartment, Gen Asim Munir honored the victims of the people of Pakistan in the country’s fight against the threat of terror and appreciated their resolute support for the armed forces and the law enforcement authorities (Leahers).
