Imran calls on leaders to set aside differences

Islamabad/Rawalpindi:

PTI founder Imran Khan has ordered each member of his party to immediately set aside all internal differences and focus solely on the party’s 5th August Protest Movement, “for which no meaningful momentum is being built at the moment”.

In a special message dated July 22 released from Adiala Prison, former Prime Minister PTI’s internal canyons at this “critical time” described as “shameful and condemnable” and warned that someone who found that they were engaged in fractionism within the party will be extracted.

He said he fought for the future of our generations and every victim he did was for that matter. “Creating rifts within the party at this point would be a direct betrayal with my mission and vision,” he added.

According to the PTI founder, the “so-called government has formed through form 47” curled the judiciary through the 26th constitutional amendment.

“The way that partial judges are now delivering obviously unfair judgments in accordance with these courts is visible to the entire nation. We must start a robust campaign to free the judiciary, for no nation can survive, so much less progress without judicial independence.”

Imran said that his greatest success is that despite unprecedented oppression, the public stands with him.

“On February 8 (2024), the people expressed their confidence in Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf by voting for you, even in the absence of an election symbol. After such a clear mandate, it is the moral and political responsibility for each party member to become people’s voice,” he added.

At the beginning of the message, Imran Khan claimed that in Pakistan’s history had any political leader been subjected to the treatment he was currently at.

He said former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif committed corruption worth billions and nevertheless was awarded any possible consolation in prison. “In contrast, never before the innocent and apolitical spouse of a political figure has been imprisoned under such inhuman conditions as those imposed on Bushra Bibi.”

The PTI cartridge-in-Chief stated that he lasted the harshest prison period in the country’s history solely for supremacy of the Constitution and in the service of my nation.

On Thursday, Judge Shahrukh Arjumand postponed from the Special Central FIA Court until July 26, the hearing of the Toshakhana-II case, in which Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are the key accused.

During the hearing, held in a courtroom in Rawalpindis Adiala prison, both Imran and Bushra were presented.

Later, spoke with the media outside the prison PTI’s central Secretary General Salman Akram Raja, IMRAN’s sister Aleema Khan and PTI-senator Ali Zafar said that Toshakhana-II court case should be declared invalid, as a closed door’s trial is a violation of the constitution and law.

They said IMRAN’s sons, Kasim Khan and Sulaiman Khan, have both confirmed their plan to come to Pakistan. They said it was their constitutional right to meet their imprisoned father.

In this regard, a formal constitutional petition is filed in Islamabad High Court this week. The purpose of filing the petition is to ensure that the prison authorities have no legal reasons for refusing the meeting. The petition is expected to be filed at any time, they added.
