Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI)-Founder Imran Khan has nominated Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party Chief (PKMAP) Mahmood Khan Achakzai as head of the opposition of the National Assembly and Senator Azam SWATI has been nominated as head of the opposition of the opposition, revealed Wednesday.
The decision was made in the wake of the Pakistans Election Commission (ECP) message that disqualified Omar Ayub as Na opposition leader and Shibli Faraz as Senate’s opposition leader in their beliefs in May 9 -SAGE. In addition to Ayub and Faraz, scores by PTI MNAs and MPAs were also disqualified by ECP in their beliefs in May 9, rebel cases.
When he spoke with the media outside the Supreme Court, Raja said the PTI founder has sought a list of five names of the gap of the opposition leader in the Punjab assembly in an attempt to choose the most appropriate candidate.
It is relevant to mention that Ayub and Faraz had moved Peshawar High Court (PHC) after their disqualification of ECP. In response to their pleas, the PHC appointment of opposition leaders remained in the National Assembly and the Senate and sought answers from the ECP.
